SIGN asks, at a time when every image can be copied, recognized, and scraped by machines, what can still remain inaccessible within an image. By making representation disappear without erasing the presence of the source image, the project transforms the portrait into the trace of a bond: no longer the image of a person, but the materialization of an attachment.

SIGN interroge, à une époque où toute image peut être copiée, reconnue et aspirée par les machines, ce qui peut encore demeurer inaccessible dans une image. En faisant disparaître la représentation sans effacer la présence de l’image source, le projet transforme le portrait en trace d’un lien : non plus l’image d’une personne, mais la matérialisation d’un attachement.
